GW Mailbox is an email and calendar app specifically designed for the iPhone and iPad, offering a superior interface compared to Novell's default GroupWise WebAccess. This app provides enhanced functionality typically not available with simple POP/IMAP configurations, such as access to your Frequent Contacts and GroupWise address book.

Designed to work exclusively with a Novell GroupWise email server, GW Mailbox relies on the infrastructure of this server, akin to Lotus Notes or Microsoft Exchange. Without a Novell GroupWise email account, this app will not be compatible. For the URL to your company's GroupWise WebAccess server, kindly consult your IT department.

 <li>Review item properties to track appointment acceptance, email views, etc.</li>
 <li>Accept or decline appointments, tasks, and notes</li>

Contacts:

 <li>Efficiently search across all GroupWise address books, including Frequent Contacts and the GroupWise System Address Book</li>
 <li>Access contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses</li>
 <li>Quickly call a contact with a single tap from your iPhone</li>
 <li>Email a contact using GW Mailbox or the iOS Mail app</li>
 <li>Create appointments linked to a specific contact</li>
</ul>

Advanced Email Notifications:

 <li>Customize frequency of mailbox checks</li>

Search Functionality:

 <li>Perform searches within any of your GroupWise folders</li>

Please note: GW Mailbox utilizes GroupWise WebAccess to retrieve your email data. If your GroupWise administrator has not made GroupWise WebAccess accessible for you, GW Mailbox will be unusable. Although Novell Access Manager is supported, the app will not function if your company uses a different proxy server. Furthermore, GW Mailbox requires a consistent internet connection.
